Caroline Belt appointed new director of the Van Gogh Sites Foundation

With effect from 1 July, Caroline Belt will take up the post of Executive Director of the Van Gogh Sites Foundation. Caroline thus takes over from Frank van den Eijnden, who has put Van Gogh on the map in Brabant over the past 15 years, and Simone van der Heiden, who has co-led the management team since 2022. Over those 15 years, Van Gogh has grown from a local hero for Nuenen, Etten-Leur and Zundert to an icon for the whole of Brabant. Van Gogh is now a source of inspiration for various social initiatives, such as the Van Gogh National Park and the Van Gogh Homeland Biennale.

Caroline will be based at the Brabant Partners office in Oisterwijk, which also houses Van Gogh National Park. Frank van de Eijnden will continue in his role as director of marketing & development for Van Gogh National Park. Simone van der Heiden will focus her work on the Van Gogh Village Museum and Van Gogh Sites NV, which are affiliated with the Van Gogh Sites Foundation.
