In ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Noordbrabants Museum tells the story of Vincent’s Brabant. With around ten original paintings and an exhibition on Brabant as it was in his day, the Van Gogh Pavilion brings visitors closer to the painter’s world.

Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) is one of the world’s most beloved artists. His paintings, drawings and letters inspire people of all ages. His work can be admired in numerous museums around the world.
Collections
The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam houses the largest collection of the painter’s original works. The Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo is Vincent van Gogh’s second home, featuring in particular many drawings from his early period. In ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Noordbrabants Museum tells the story of Vincent’s Brabant.

Legacy in letters
As well as in his paintings, Van Gogh also recorded his thoughts and feelings in letters. These letters offer a unique insight into his inner world and the era in which he lived. Some of the original letters can be viewed in museum exhibitions around the world.

Van Gogh Worldwide
Van Gogh Worldwide is a free digital platform run by the Netherlands Institute for Art History, the Van Gogh Museum and the Kröller-Müller Museum, which provides detailed art-historical and technical information on the approximately 2,000 works of art by Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890). The platform presents this data in an accessible and user-friendly way, with information that is constantly updated and sourced directly from the works’ owners.
