Working together for nature and heritage

Van Gogh National Park is a collaboration between more than 80 partners in Brabant who are committed to creating a more beautiful landscape with stunning natural surroundings and valuable heritage. Together, they are working to create green spaces that extend right into the heart of towns and villages, and a thriving agricultural landscape with sustainable tourism, at the heart of an economically vibrant region.

Van Gogh National Park is a large area in North Brabant where Vincent van Gogh grew up. Across an area of around 100,000 hectares, partners are working together under the banner of Van Gogh National Park to promote greening right into the heart of towns and villages. At its core lies the formal national park, which covers approximately 50,000 hectares. The formal national park is broadly situated between Eindhoven, Tilburg and Den Bosch, whilst the partnership area extends as far as the surroundings of Breda and Helmond.

Shared ambition

Local authorities, the Province of North Brabant, water boards, the agricultural sector, nature organisations, tourism, recreation and the business community: they have set out their vision and the associated development strategies in the Van Gogh NP Master Plan. The Van Gogh Sites Foundation is a proud partner and is closely involved in this initiative.
