Nuenen: From the vicarage garden, you could see this old tower and its churchyard. Vincent van Gogh loved this rural churchyard with its old tower. He produced no fewer than 35 drawings and paintings of it, including during its demolition in 1885. The foundations of the old tower are still present underground. And part of the churchyard still exists. Vincent’s father is buried here; you can collect the key to visit this part from the Van Gogh Village Museum in Nuenen.
