1866–1868: The Hannik family’s boarding house

Tilburg: In Tilburg, at 57 Korvel, stood the home of Jan Hannik, a senior tax official, and his wife Adriana van der Griend. Vincent found lodgings here. Their son Marinus was five years older than Vincent and also attended the HBS. Today, a different building stands on this site, at St. Annaplein 18–19.
