In the 2026–2027 school year, too, various special Van Gogh locations will be taking part in ‘Museumschatjes’. Here, pupils discover Vincent van Gogh’s life, work and sources of inspiration in an interactive and surprising way. From his birthplace in Zundert to the places where he lived and worked: every museum tells its own story.

This school year, new venues have also been added to the programme, including Van Gogh Etten-Leur. Schools can also once again choose well-known crowd favourites such as the Van Gogh Village Museum in Nuenen and Het Noordbrabants Museum in ’s-Hertogenbosch.

From Wednesday 2 September at 3.30 pm, schools can register for Museumschatjes 2026–2027. Start making a list of your favourite museums and get ready for registration!

The Van Gogh Sites Foundation works with various heritage sites where the story of Vincent van Gogh comes to life. The following partner sites are taking part in Museumschatjes 2026–2027:
